As a late note, I hope everyone enjoyed the orgasmic ownage of the new possibilities of the .CO TLD offered for $29.99/yr @ GoDaddy. So far, close to 300,000 domains have been registered! I know BigStack and I got off to a good start Tuesday night purchasing some unique domains, hopefully, we will get around to using them. (hehehe).
However, if you were someone with money there was a Pre-Launch before the public could get them cheaper. Around the earliest time pre-registrations were going for around $300 which would allow you to own that domain (obviously), then decreased as it got closer to date.
Twitter gets off on a good start by purchasing t.co, which will be used as a link shortener. God, have they not heard of TinyURL? Though, all in all... This is the SHORTEST a domain can ever get - so good work Twitter. Microsoft, surprisingly, didn't get headlines in the media for purchasing some kick ass domain - oh well.
Anyone hear of e.co? Well, e.co was going up for auction and can literally be used for anything. Highest bidder won @ $81,000. Good buy -- now how the hell you going to sell?
Anywho, it is what it is now. If you purchased a .CO domain:
1) Go to cointernet.co to claim your FREE flying pig
2) share with us!
